Robert Half International, or commonly referred as, Robert Half, is a global human resource consulting firm based in Menlo Park, California founded in 1948. It is a member of the S&P 500, and is credited as being the world's first and largest accounting and finance staffing firm, with over 345 locations worldwide.Robert Half has a variety of divisions.

A current employee shared his outrage, "Robert Half tricked into taking a position in the UNEMPLOYMENT CALL CENTER. Advised me I had a position in the ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT, I have a BACHELORS degree and they put in an entry level call center position listening to crazy claimants scream and yell at me all. I cannot find another job and I am stuck in this $15 hour job for who knows how long. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE COMPANY. They have no idea what they are doing or how to run a recruiting company! They RUINED MY CHANCES OF GETTING UNEMPLOYMENT TO BE SCREAMED AT ALL DAY. Not cool. not appericated. They will not move me to a different position."

"Does not train properly to set new employees up for success. No employee loyalty. Sells you on the job during the interview and sets unrealistic expectations, which is a losing battle in the long run. New hire training is extremely disoriented and rushed which leaves you feeling UN-prepared to fully exceed at the role. Upper management plays favorites in a very obvious way. When asking for help, it is given but only in a 5 minute conversation. Upper management has verbally yelled at peers, been visibly upset, and creates a hostile work environment for the office regularly."

"I was on Robert Half's Creative Group Outside Sales team. My experience aligns with a lot of the negative reviews here. Empty promises, disconnected management, no loyalty, minimal guidance. I was dialing all day, every day, and when no one wanted our over priced, under skilled temporary employees (literally didn't blame our "clients", we offered no real value that they couldn't find elsewhere lmao) I asked my boss "what should I do, I can't get any hits, no one wants our temp staff?" He essentially told me to come in earlier, stay later, and give up even more of my time after work to attend functions and meet and greets. I was already working 50 hour weeks. Then, JUST as I am starting to get some interest after four months of grinding, I was let go without any warning. Even my team was shocked, one of my coworkers grumbled that they should have given me at least two more months. Cannot NOT recommend this company harder, anyone giving this place positive reviews is either a brainwashed sheep or has had dumb luck in their role."

"They'll sweet talk you into accepting less pay than you're worth. They will not discuss pay increases or provide annual raises based on inflation. If the client has more holidays than Robert Half throughout the year, expect to lose a couple of your PTO days which are already few. The training tools they provide are quite poor quality. If the client wants to hire you full time, Robert Half will fight tooth and nail to not have it happen. Much of the other "talent" they've provided my client have been unskilled, leading me to believe that RH only cares about the contract dollars, not if the consultant can actually do the job intended."

"Bad leadership, really bad. Without even mentioning the internal lack of values, Houston hired a murdered and the client had to be the one to alert them (caught on video, all over the news). They also hired someone that stole an identity TWICE. LITERALLY TWICE the same office hired someone wanted by the police. How do you fire someone who stole an identity and then hire them again? Just two examples over a very small time frame. How do you as a company trust someone like this to work in your company, accounting departments, or IT? Baffling! It's a pain to write emails and make phone calls without getting called back or receiving an email. Very poor communication. It goes to the highest level, even the Vice Presidents of the company. "After being placed at a job that was supposed to be temp to hire, I had a few issues with the working environment. I was contacted by my contacts that placed me at the job asking how everything was going. I was honest and their best response was to tell me to submit a two week notice. They would not allow me to interview at other “opportunities” until after the two week notice was submitted and done. They expected me to forgo a paycheck and did not offer any other solutions to the issues I brought to their attention. They were no help during this troubling time of COVID-19! All of the building got to work from home as soon as the pandemic started, except the Robert Half people. There were 14 confirmed cases of COVID and they refused to send us home. When we started to voice our concerns they just brushed them. They staring laying people off instead of just letting us work from home. They are terrible people and evil. All of the Robert Half people are working from home but won't protect their employees, it's BS if you ask me. I really hope someone sues them because this is outrageous.Noneeverything"

"Been with them for now 7 months and not one job. This predates the virus so they have no excuses. They just put out job postings and real in New fish and it goes no where. I think they are just collecting personal information to re sale but thats my opinion. Big Boy waste of time, moving on."

"Rober Half Salaried Professionals: Management uses manipulation and are dishonest in their supervisory tactics. They are resistant to providing you a performance review and subsequent pay increases. The supervisors need Workplace Harrassment Training and a separate HR division to work with employees. If needed, work a one time placement, but then get out!"
